2. General information

Personal data are any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. We process personal data only where necessary to operate this website securely, answer enquiries or conduct business relationships.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data. These may include the IP address, date and time, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser, operating system and HTTP status. Processing is necessary to deliver the website and to ensure stability, security and error analysis. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our online service.

STRATO anonymises the IP address in the access logs made available to us. Access logs are available at STRATO for a maximum of six weeks; error logs are generally available for five days. Longer storage takes place only where required to investigate a specific security incident or to comply with legal obligations.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. This may include your name, company, contact details, message content and information about requested products or alloys.

Where the enquiry concerns the initiation or performance of a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in appropriate business communication.

Product enquiry buttons only open the email application configured on your device. No contact form is submitted through the website and no enquiry is stored in the website database.

5. Cookies, analytics and tracking

The publicly accessible website does not use analytics, marketing or tracking services and does not automatically embed content from social networks or video platforms. No cookies are set on the public pages and no identifiers are stored in local storage.

Only the protected administration area, which is not linked publicly, uses a technically necessary PHP session cookie for authentication and security. It is not used for analytics or advertising and becomes invalid when the session ends. The legal bases are Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. External links

This website contains links to external services, in particular RINGENIE and Webdesign Martin Tomaszuk. A connection to the respective provider is established only when you click such a link. The technically necessary data for opening the page are then transmitted to the external provider, which is responsible for any subsequent processing.

7. Recipients and international transfers

Personal data are disclosed only to service providers required for hosting, technical support or communications, and to authorities or other bodies where required by law. We do not sell personal data. The website itself does not intentionally transfer personal data to recipients outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

This website is delivered via an encrypted HTTPS connection. Please note that ordinary email communication can still involve security risks despite transport encryption. Particularly confidential information should therefore be sent only after prior coordination.
